Once upon a time long ago

I began sewing and quilting as a young child. My mother and grandmother were wonderfully talented people. My mother still sews at 89! I was in 4-H for many years going to State Fair a few times with my sewing projects.

In high school and college I took many art courses and continue to study with skilled artists and people who sew.

Now in retirement I spend much of my time sewing and creating.

My little assistants

Ellie and Berry sometimes check out what I am working on. They like my Bernina long arm machine.
